Summer started fast and just keeps going here at your library. The Summer Reading Program is averaging between 50-60 participants per week who are enjoying finding out about different countries around the world and even trying out some “foreign” foods. On June 29, we will be learning about the USA and then enjoying a good, old-fashioned hot dog cookout for an early Fourth of July Celebration. It is not too late to join Summer Reading; it is open to children ages birth to ???? Fun and activities for all ages! Participants are also reading to meet their reading goals so they can join in the fun at the Pizza and Pool Party on July 20. Remember: you can participate in the Wednesday morning activities AND do the reading goals or you can pursue the reading goals on your own and still join in the party. Come see us!

HAPPY 2011!
We have been experiencing lots of changes at your library. Our automation project was launched successfully – at least we can check books in and out easily; however, we still have books that need to be entered into the system and a few little quirks to work out. We appreciate everyone’s patience with us as we continue to learn. Patrons can click on the OPAC link on the right column to go directly to the Online Patron Access Catalogue. From there, you can see what books we have, contact us, put books on hold, request renewals, and change personal information. Please take time to get familar with the OPAC and come by if you need more help or have questions.
