Joe Drape video

Joe Drape, the author of Our Boys: A Perfect Season with the Smith Center Redmen, gave a talk on February 8th in Hutchinson, KS.  It’s available now.  The talk is about 45 minutes long.

Libri Foundation Presentation

We had an enthusiastic group today at story time, and the kids helped us model our new Libri Foundation books.  Come by and check them out any time; they are gorgeous books for kids from beginning to middle grade readers.  See the full list of books in the previous post.

Also, don’t forget we have story time every Wednesday at 10:30, with giveaways and treats almost every week.  You can always check the calendar on the left sidebar of the website.  See you there!

New Books through the Libri Foundation Grant

Towanda Public Library has just received 82 new children’s books from The Libri Foundation Grant.  There are picture books and middle grade books, and a mix of science and math books as well as fiction books.  The picture books will be presented at Story Time on Wednesday, February 15th at 10:30 am.
