September is Library Card Sign Up Month!  I bet you didn’t know that.  But even if you did, did you know ALL the things you can do with a library card?  Here’s a great list, compiled by the campaign for America’s Libraries, @yourlibrary:

And, okay, Towanda Library doesn’t currently offer ALL those things, but we definitely have

4. Use free Wi-Fi. (Almost 91 percent of public library outlets offer wireless Internet access.)

11. Attend preschool story hour with your child.

29. Get involved – join your library’s Friends group or teen advisory board.

31.Trek to another planet in a Sci-Fi novel.

60. Learn new knitting techniques and get new patterns.

It seems it’s that time of year again… when student drivers are on the road.  I know a few neighborhoods I’m planning to stay out of for the next couple months… Just kidding!  You guys are doing great.
