We’ve been making an effort to add to our graphic novel collection, and over the past year have added many popular titles for all ages.  The most recent acquisition is volumes 1-18 of Fables, an award-winning series by Bill Willingham.

Comics and graphic novels expand the range of literacy modalities that the library is able to offer.  These books can encourage reluctant readers, open discussions for social issues, and engage young readers in a fun book format.

We have added many new super hero titles, manga comics, and independent titles on a range of topics.  Come in and ask us more, or check them out for yourself.
