The Towanda Public Library Friends of the Library Board are pleased to announce the installation of a new circulation desk in the Library. The Friends group bought the materials and the desk was built by workers from the El Dorado Correctional Facility. The Friends group raises money for library needs through their Monterrey Feed, Holiday Home Tour and annual nut sale.
Story Time at the Library begins again on September 9, 2010 at 10:30 AM. September’s theme is “Planes, Trains & Automobiles.” Please join us every Wednesday morning for songs, stories and crafts.
Towanda Friends of the Library group will be serving Monterreys in conjunction with the citywide garage sales in May.
Monterreys will be sold at the Community Center, 315 Main, Towanda for $7.00 including tea.
The Senior Citizens group will be selling cobbler & ice cream, hot dogs, and pop this year.
